About Fray
Fray is a 4-year-old pit bull terrier mix who’s back with the rescue after being found as a stray, though she was originally born in care. It took her some time to feel at ease again, but she’s steadily gaining confidence and enjoying life. Fray has done well with older dogs her size; she’s lived with another dog before, but gets pretty excited meeting new dogs, so slow introductions work best for her. Indoors, she spends time happily in her crate or watching the neighborhood from the window. Fray is friendly with people and especially fond of children. She’s been making impressive progress with basic training and listens well when treats are involved. Fray’s playful, athletic, and loves chasing after anything that moves—rabbits, squirrels, even frogs. She’s picking up frisbee tricks and enjoys giving affection but isn’t overly clingy. She eats lightly and takes treats gently. When playing with other dogs, she can get a bit rough, so any playmate should enjoy some wrestling. Fray wants an active family who’ll value her energy and smarts. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
