About Sugar
Sugar is a lively 7-month-old puppy weighing around 50 lbs, expected to reach about 80 lbs as she matures. Sheβs a mix of Great Pyrenees and Retriever, showcasing a beautiful white and cream coat. Currently in the foster-to-adopt program, Sugar requires an experienced adopter due to her need for structure and daily exercise. This means at least 90 minutes of vigorous activity daily, along with mental stimulation and some basic training. Working on her potty training, Sugar is progressing well but needs a patient adopter willing to help her learn. She gets along well with other dogs and is also cat-friendly, making her a versatile companion. However, since she is still a puppy, interactions with children should be supervised and ideally limited to those aged 8 and up. While Sugar is affectionate and eager to learn, she is also entering a phase where mouthy play is common. Therefore, consistent training will be crucial for her development. If you're ready for the commitment of raising a puppy and have relevant experience, Sugar could be the perfect addition to your family. This pup is not at the Social Tees office, as she is currently in a loving foster home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
