About Mitch
Mitch is a Great Pyrenees mix with a remarkable story of survival and resilience. Rescued from the streets of Texas, he faced hardships before finding a caring family in the Northeast. Although they provided him with love and care, the urban environment hasn't suited him well. Mitch needs a peaceful setting where he can truly thrive. This gentle giant weighs around 70 lbs and is expected to fill out to about 80 lbs. With a medium-length coat, he is housebroken and enjoys the great outdoors, especially on hikes and walks away from the hustle of city life. Mitch is incredibly social; he gets along with children, cats, dogs, and even loves being around farm animals like horses and chickens. He has a charming way of greeting with what he calls his "Pyr paw" shake. Ideally, he would love a home with a fenced yard and humans who can accompany him on leisurely strolls.
