About Flour
Flour is a big-hearted goof who’s made for companionship. He weighs about 90 lbs and, while his size is impressive, what really stands out is his gentle soul and goofy charm. Originally rescued from Mississippi, Flour has settled into the routine at Lucky Dog Refuge in Stamford, CT, but he’s more than ready for a real home. At roughly two years and eight months old, he has the energy and curiosity of a young adult. His coat is white with cream accents, medium in length and always seems a little windswept. Flour gets along well with other dogs if he’s given proper introductions but does not do well with cats, so a cat-free household is best. He’s crate trained and making steady progress with leash walking, showing plenty of smarts. Routines, patience, and clear guidance help him flourish. He isn’t house trained yet, so expect some adjustment time as he learns the rhythm of a new home. Flour would thrive with adopters who offer him structure and plenty of affection. Loyal and eager to bond, he’ll match your patience with his own. Born right at the start of September, Flour is a Virgo, so you can count on his thoughtful side peeking through the big-dog antics.
