About Hera
Hera is a lovely 3-year-old pittie weighing about 47 pounds. Currently in a foster home in NYC, she can be transported throughout the Northeast. This affectionate girl adores gentle belly rubs and spending time close to her people. Hera often gazes into your eyes, reminding you with a light paw tap to keep the love going. She's also quite the sploot champion and enjoys parading around with her stuffed toys. Inside, Hera is calm and well-mannered. She's fully house trained and sleeps peacefully through the night, keeping her naps to a contented minimum. Her impressive list of tricks includes "sit," "paw," and "come." She enjoys treats, particularly fruits like apples and pears, and takes them politely. Hera has a heartwarming story, having overcome a rough start in life. She has made great strides with training and is learning to manage her emotions. This process will need to be continued by her new home. A suitable family will be an adult-only household or one with respectful teenagers. Experience in handling dog behavior will be essential, allowing her to thrive in a loving, calm environment where her boundaries are respected. Hera is ready to give her future family heaps of love—along with the support of an attentive and gentle owner. If you think you can provide Hera the continued guidance and care she needs, don't hesitate to apply.
