While shy initially, once she connects with someone, Lucy’s affectionate nature shines through. Lucy requires daily mental and physical stimulation to keep her happy and balanced. An active household with a structured routine will suit her best. She'll need some patience as she transitions into a new home since she can become over-aroused and may jump or mouth when overly excited. Although still mastering her leash skills, she's eager to learn. Lucy enjoys playing with dogs that match her energy. She does not have known interactions with cats, but she may not be a good fit for homes with them. Beneath her playful zoomies is a deeply affectionate dog longing to snuggle and bond with her people. She's ready to learn, ready to love, and ready to finally find her home.
