About Topaz
Meet Topaz, an almost 3-year-old mixed breed dog weighing around 45-50 pounds. He’s had a challenging past, but he’s come a long way since being rescued. Topaz has been waiting for over a year, hoping to find a loving forever home. He is crate trained and house trained, but since he has spent ample time in kennels, he’ll need some patience while he settles into home life. Though he walks on a leash, he can pull at times; however, with a bit of guidance, he's eager to learn and improve. Topaz loves people and desires to be part of your life. He would thrive best as the only dog or with someone who understands how to foster safe, positive relationships with other dogs, as he’s still building his social skills. Due to his food preferences, no small children, please. This affectionate dog has a lot of love to give; he just needs someone to take a chance on him.
