Aaron is a young Lab mix, about 5-6 months old, who’s beginning to discover life as a family dog after a tough start in shelter life. He may seem a bit unsure initially, but once he warms up, his playful puppy spirit shines through. He loves playing with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident, well-socialized canine to help him learn the ropes. Having faced challenges early on, Aaron is still working on his socialization and basic manners. He can get protective around food with other dogs, so his new family will need to manage mealtime carefully, giving meals and prized items separately until he learns proper sharing etiquette. Aaron is in the early stages of house training and crate training and hasn’t yet mastered leash walking. He needs a patient family that understands he hasn't had the opportunity to develop these skills yet. Despite these hurdles, he possesses all the makings of a wonderful companion with the right guidance and love.
