About Josie

Meet Josie! This vibrant 8-month-old Tortie kitten has a playful spirit and loves to engage in fun activities, especially with her sister. While she initially appears shy and enjoys her alone time, once you earn her trust, she quickly transforms into a cuddle machine who purrs with delight. Josie also has a soft spot for cozy beds where she can nap. Rescued from a pregnant stray in Texas, Josie was born in foster care. She carries the FIV+ status, which she has had since birth. The positive side is that FIV is manageable with proper care. To keep her safe, she should be an indoor cat, stay up to date on vaccinations, and be away from harsh environments. Josie would thrive in a household where she is either the only cat or lives with other FIV+ cats. Our rescue is based in Texas, but we offer climate-controlled transport options to help her reach her new home.
