About Georgia
Meet Georgia! This charming 1-year-old Pomsky may weigh in at 30 pounds, but her personality is anything but small. True to her Husky heritage, Georgia is playful and affectionate, sprinkled with a dash of sass. After being found wandering a local neighborhood for several weeks, she was understandably cautious upon arriving at her foster home. Luckily, she quickly adapted to the comforts of home living. Now, Georgia is a sweet girl who thrives on human and canine companionship. While she adores face and neck scratches, and happily climbs into laps for attention, she may be a bit reserved with full body handling. For this reason, a home with kids aged 13 and up would suit her best. Georgia's playful spirit shines through especially with the medium-sized dogs in her foster home; she loves to wrestle and chase them. Her Husky instincts mean she has a prey drive and would not be a match for cats or small dogs under 15 pounds. She also enjoys zoomies around the yard and expresses joy with happy dances when it's outdoor time. Having established boundaries, she knows when to take a break and relax on the couch. A securely fenced yard or regular leash walks are essential for Georgia, as her adventurous nature might lead her to explore if given the chance. She is making great strides in her leash training, already enjoying walks through the neighborhood and park. Georgia seeks a family that will support her continued confidence building. If you're in search of a goofy adventure buddy with a vibrant spirit, Georgia might just be your perfect match!
