About Summer

Summer is an approximately 1-year-old German Shepherd and Husky mix with a gentle heart. She was found in a field alongside her sisters May and June, and she’s now in the care of Wags Inn. Initially timid with new faces and experiences, Summer quickly warms up once she recognizes she’s safe. She’s making strides in her comfort level, seeking affection and enjoying gentle pets as she learns to trust people. A patient home is ideal for Summer, where she can take her time settling in. Having a confident, friendly dog around would really help her feel more secure and teach her that the world isn't so frightening. Up-to-date on vaccinations, Summer is also scheduled to be spayed on July 23, 2026, bringing her one step closer to that forever home. To keep the process smooth, remember that Wags Inn requires that adopters live within a 50-mile radius. Click apply to start the adoption process.
