He's house-trained and has been neutered and vaccinated. This brave, funny, and independent cat is currently residing in Richmond, KY. With a sensitive back, he benefits from some special care, but he’s ready to find a loving home.
About Walker
Meet Walker! This charming cat arrived at our rescue after we were alerted about a neighborhood cat showing difficulty moving. Initially thought to have a neurological issue, we discovered that Walker suffers from arthritis or a previous spinal injury, causing him chronic pain and a distinctive wobble. Thankfully, a joint supplement has significantly improved his mobility, allowing him to run and jump with more ease. Walker is full of personality, often meowing as he explores the center, earning him the nickname "Walky-Talky." His favorite spot is a sunny cat tree, where he loves to lounge. He’s playful with toys—especially crinkly balls and catnip mice—and takes his role as the watchful hunter quite seriously, having caught a few unwelcome mice on patrol. He enjoys gentle head scritches and tolerates petting around his neck, despite his sensitive hind end. Due to his territorial nature, Walker does not get along with other cats or small children. We recommend a home where he’s the only feline. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is waived thanks to a generous sponsor.
