About Zinnia
Meet Zinnia, a delightful 4-year-old Yorkshire Terrier. Weighing in at just 8 pounds, she embodies the perfect pocket-sized companion. This little lady recently entered rescue alongside her mama, Stella Parton, and they share an inseparable bond. Zinnia has a gentle, cautious nature, and she loves to stay close to her humans. Expect her to snuggle right into your lap the moment you sit down. Zinnia has a charming little quirk in her walk; her back feet are a bit weak, leading to an adorable duck-like stance. While she enjoys exploring her yard, she won’t be winning any races and prefers companionship over long walks. Hard surfaces can be tricky for her, and she needs help navigating stairs because of her petite size and hind-end weakness. But with some support, she’s easily carried like a little princess. This sweet girl will soon be spayed and is very cooperative during her vet visits. She takes eye drops well for her suspected dry eyes, and though she needs some encouragement when it comes to meals, she enjoys eating once she's motivated. Zinnia is also working on house training with progress being made. This tender soul seeks a loving home where she can feel safe and cherished, preferably with her mama by her side. Together, they promise to light up your life with their affection. If you have room in your heart and home for this loving duo, Zinnia is ready to come home with you!
