About Layla

Layla is an 11-year-old Silky Terrier/Yorkie mix, weighing in at about 10 pounds. Despite being in early kidney failure, she has shown remarkable improvement since starting her kidney care diet. This little girl is full of life, loving to engage with squeaky toys and playfully nibble at her human's hands. Ideally, Layla would thrive in a home without other dogs or with those who will respect her space, as she cannot coexist with cats. For families, it's best if any children are at least 12 years old. She's happiest in an environment where someone is home most of the time. Due to her condition, she'll need a specific diet and regular veterinary check-ups. While she sometimes has accidents from drinking more water, this vibrant companion still has so much love to give. If youโ€™re interested in giving Layla the loving forever home she deserves, please contact Dancers Bridge Dog Rescue, Inc.
