Carmen is a charming Pit Bull Terrier mix with beautiful gray and brown coloring. She arrived as a stray, and it's surprising no one came to find her. Friendly and happy, she greets new people with joy and wagging tail. Carmen loves attention and pets from her human friends but needs some work on her basic manners since she doesn’t know much yet. She enjoys treats, which makes her an ideal candidate for training. Walking is one of her favorite activities, although she does pull a bit and prefers a brisk pace. While she has been shy around other dogs at the shelter, she gradually becomes playful with them as she gets comfortable. Carmen appears to have limited experience with dogs, so a slow and supervised introduction is necessary for her. She's curious about cats but quickly backs off if they hiss. Currently living in a foster home with older children, she requires a sturdy crate in her new home due to some separation anxiety when left alone.
