About Artie
Artie is a young male Pit Bull Terrier mix who came to our shelter in challenging conditionsโhe was emaciated, covered in fleas, and had numerous wounds. Despite his rough start in life, Artie is now receiving the care he needs in order to recover. He thrives on attention and loves pets, showing a gentle and affectionate nature. This sweet boy enjoys his daily walks, although he may pull on the leash when he gets excited. Artie has shown positive interactions with other dogs, eagerly wanting to play with his canine companions. Given his past, it's best to feed him separately from other animals, as he had to compete for food with his siblings when he was younger. When introduced to cats, he displayed curiosity and playfulness. Artie would do well in a home with a patient adopter who can provide him the time he needs to adjust and feel safe.
