About Lily
Lily is a remarkable young lady searching for her forever home. Rescued from a tough situation alongside her friend Hazel, sheโs ready to leave the past behind. This sweet girl, believed to be a yellow Labrador Retriever mix, has an endearing personality that shines through once she feels comfortable. At around 8 months old and just over 40 lbs, Lily can be timid when meeting new people, but give her a little time, and she warms right up. Her affectionate nature has even earned her the nickname โhuggerโ from her foster mom, as she loves to give hugs! Lily has been getting along well with other dogs, taking her time to assess new friends slowly and carefully. Sheโs also shown no issues with the cats sheโs met. Though she prefers companionship and outdoor activities, she has done well in her crate, remaining accident-free and calm. She's still mastering leash walking but is eager to learn.
