Meet Boone, a sweet and gentle 3-year-old German Shepherd with a face full of expression. He's been on a journey since being rescued from a shelter, and now he’s ready to find his forever home. Boone loves meeting new people and has never growled or snapped, even at the vet. He enjoys the company of other dogs, making a confident canine friend a plus in his new home. Boone is fantastic on a leash, enjoying sniff walks and outings with friends. He is house trained and not at all destructive, preferring to blend into whatever you’re doing. While he appreciates a calm home without too many visitors, he’s open to meeting new friends, especially if they come with their dogs. A light-hearted note: Boone does have mild hip dysplasia. After an evaluation from an orthopedic vet, it was advised that he may not need surgery now or in the future. He remains active and loves to hike, taking an anti-inflammatory daily for support.
