Buddy is a big, sturdy dog with a striking blend of German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois. At 4 years old, he’s got plenty of energy for hikes, car rides, and daily adventures. Buddy loves to get out and sniff around outside and is eager to hop in the car whenever it’s time to go—the world is interesting and he wants to see it all. Leash walks are a big part of his day. He’ll walk well most of the time but sometimes pulls hard, especially when a new scent catches his attention. That curiosity never really fades. Other dogs are generally fine by Buddy’s standards, though if he senses odd vibes he may let them know—nothing excessive, just some clear communication. Around people, Buddy leans friendly, but seems to prefer women over men at first and may be a bit uneasy with unfamiliar men until trust builds. He’s comfortable out in public, walks nicely through stores, takes treats gently, and isn’t bothered by noise or traffic. Buddy looks for a steady, patient leader—someone confident but gentle, who’ll appreciate his sensitive Malinois side. While he’s been around older kids, boisterous play means he can get mouthy, so he’s better suited for homes without very young children.
