About Tank
Tank is a 3-year-old neutered male German Shepherd mix with a bundle of goofy energy. He can be a little shy at first, especially around new people, places, or new activities, but he's started picking up confidence and bonds quickly after a day or two. Tank is highly food-motivated, which is a big help for training; he's learning helpful habits like heeling on leash and patiently waiting for his food. Once Tank feels secure with you, he's glued to your side and often wants to snuggle, convinced he's lap-dog size despite being a big guy. He needs a home that sticks to a daily walking or adventure routineāhe does best with consistent activity and enrichment. Tank is a good fit for homes with other large dogs or children old enough to understand and respect boundaries, as long as intros are calm and slow. Despite being part Malinois, his energy and temperament are much more manageable than a typical Malinois, falling closer to moderate. Tank does not get along with cats. A home committed to steady exposure and patient, confidence-building would help him continue growing into the loyal companion heās shaping up to be. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
