About Violet
Violet just can't seem to catch a break, but we're determined to change her story. When she was just a pup, she was found tied to a pole outside a building and left behind. Queen City Pitties stepped in to bring her to safety, hoping she'd find her forever home. A few years later, through no fault of her own, Violet was surrendered when her adopter faced health issues and could no longer care for her. Now about 4 years old, Violet is living in boarding, waiting for someone to choose her again. This medium-sized pittie packs a ton of personality into her little frame. She's energetic, athletic, and always ready for adventure. Imagine a "pittie on a pogo stick" with a heart of gold. Violet would thrive in an active family that can keep her engaged both physically and mentally. When the adventures are done, she’s all about snuggles. Violet adores people and shares a special bond with her favorite volunteers—she loves enjoying an apple together. She’s also a fantastic hiking companion who revels in hitting the trails. Daily walks or weekend hikes are her happy places. While she has the potential to get along with the right dog, she's not had much recent socialization, so slow introductions are key. Could you be the one to give Violet the fresh start she deserves? Foster, foster-to-adopt, or adopt. She’ll repay you with endless love and maybe a few apple slices shared between friends.
