About Lenny
Lenny is your ideal companion if you want a dog who’s matured beyond the rambunctious days of youth while still gearing up for adventures. At about 8 years old and 50 pounds, he has a charm that only grows with age. When he first arrived at the shelter, Lenny needed some care, but he bounced back in a nurturing foster home. Now he's healthy and has certainly won over many hearts. Inside, Lenny is calm and well-mannered. Fully house-trained, he respects his space, often curling up in his crate for cozy naps. He has a sweet side, particularly when it comes to stuffed toys. Outdoors, Lenny’s playful nature shines. His attractive tortilla ears flap as he explores, greets people, and enjoys walks around town. He’s done well with children he's met and loves going for hikes. He walks nicely on leash, but watch out for squirrels—his curiosity gets the better of him at times. His foster is working with him on that! Lenny passed his dog evaluation at the shelter, so if you have a dog already, we can easily set up a meet-and-greet. However, he doesn’t get along with cats and prefers a feline-free environment. If you're seeking a relaxing partner who’s equally eager for exploration, Lenny is here, excited to meet you. Your new best friend is just one click away.
