About Honey

Meet Honey, a charming Chihuahua who found her way to Dakota Dachshund Rescue after being a stray. She's about 5 or 6 years old and weighs a petite 7 pounds. Honey absolutely adores children, often dashing towards them whenever she gets the chance. Because of her energetic nature, she needs a home with a securely fenced yard to keep her safe and prevent her from getting lost again. While she warms up to men easily, she can be a bit wary of women, likely due to past experiences. Honey loves to cuddle on the couch, especially tucked under a blanket. In her foster home, she’s learned the ropes and gets along with the other dachshunds, joining in on their barking spree whenever she feels like it! Honey is house trained and has been spayed and vaccinated. She's looking for a loving family that understands her quirks and can provide a safe, warm, and playful environment. Could you be her forever home? Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
