Meet Lottie, a delightful 26 lb. Shar-Pei/Basset Hound mix, estimated to be between 1 and 1.5 years old. She was found as a stray in Calexico and now seeks a patient family to help her build confidence. Lottie's initial shyness quickly fades once she feels safe, allowing her sweet and silly personality to shine through. When she’s comfortable, expect plenty of love, cuddles, and playful antics. With a moderate energy level, Lottie enjoys running around the park and engaging in goofy play, followed by cozy nap times. She does well with other dogs but would be just as happy as the only canine star in the home. Respectful and a bit submissive, she easily understands boundaries, making her a good fit for families with or without other pets. House trained and adept with the doggy door, Lottie has been left alone in her foster home without any destructive behavior. She takes to the leash well, is great in the car despite a bit of nervousness, and has interacted positively with children. Lottie loves to follow her people, showing her excitement with cute little bows and nudging at your feet. Lottie is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready for her forever home.
