She was brought to us because her previous owner realized she needed more room to thrive. Indy is great with kids over 12 but does best with older children who understand her energetic nature. While she welcomes friendly dog interaction, she may feel a bit unsure around new canine friends since she grew up without many siblings. For this reason, a home with laid-back doggie neighbors will be ideal as she builds her confidence. Her past adoption ended when she chewed on household items when left alone. Indy does well in a crate, finding comfort in that space, so a family who understands that crates can provide a safe haven will set her up for success. An active girl at heart, Indy needs a secure, fenced yard where she can run freely and explore. She thrives on routine and connection, making it essential for her to have a home filled with understanding and love. Indy is ready to invest in her future with the right companion.
