About Luna
Meet Luna! Luna is a lovely 7-month-old puppy who arrived with her mom and two sisters. While her sisters were easier to catch, Luna was hesitant and scared, unsure of the world around her. It took a little extra time to gain her trust. Once she was safe at the shelter, Luna remained frightened. We made sure she could see her family for comfort. Beneath her fear, though, is a sweet, loving girl who just needs someone to show her that the world can be a safe place. Luna is not mean; she simply hasn’t learned what love and security feel like. She needs a patient family who understands that building trust takes time. With kindness, reassurance, and plenty of love, we believe this timid puppy will blossom into a wonderful companion. Luna is looking for someone to be her safe haven, to help her grow in confidence and discover the joys of life. If you think you could be that special person for Luna, don’t hesitate to contact: Boonville Animal Control Shelter 660-882-2335 boonvilleanshelter@boonville-mo.org 1560 E. Morgan St., Boonville, MO 65233. Come meet Luna and give this sweet girl the chance she deserves to find love and security. Remember, she doesn’t need fixing; she needs a compassionate companion as she learns to trust.
