About Lyra
Meet Lyra! Sweet Lyra is a 10-month-old puppy looking for a forever home filled with love and patience. She arrived at our shelter alongside her momma and two sisters after being found roaming the streets of Boonville, MO. This little family has faced tough times, and Lyra came to us needing care, but now she’s on the path to health and happiness. Initially, Lyra and her family were frightened by people. They weren't aggressive; they just needed to learn to trust humans. Day by day, she's becoming more confident, showing her delightful personality as she enjoys outdoor playtime with her family. While she is the least shy of her siblings, Lyra is still reserved and will need a gentle adopter who understands that building trust takes time. She thrives on patience, consistency, and unconditional love. Lyra may not run up to you for cuddles immediately, but with the right person, she's set to become an amazing companion. If you have room in your heart for a sweet, shy girl on her journey to blossom, Lyra is eager to meet you! Boonville Animal Control Shelter 1560 E. Morgan St. Boonville, MO 65233 660-882-2335 boonvilleanshelter@boonville-mo.org Lyra is ready for her next chapter. Could YOU be the one to show her what forever truly means?
