He has up-to-date vaccinations and is available for adopting through the Serendipity German Shepherd Dog Rescue in Chesterfield, MO.
About Shadow
Meet Shadow, a magnificent German Shepherd with a heart full of love. After nearly nine years with his previous owner, Shadow joined the Serendipity pack when his world changed. This 100-pound gentle giant may have a commanding presence, but his personality is surprisingly easygoing. Shadow enjoys quiet companionship, often found with his favorite Kong close by, ready for a quick game of fetch before settling in for a nap. Having always been treated as a cherished house dog, Shadow is fully trained and enjoys car rides. He has lived around children and adores them. Though he may be vocal, he's never aggressive, even with strangers or dogs. While small dogs aren't a good fit for Shadow, he could possibly share his home with another large dog after a meet and greet. Due to his prey drive, however, a home with cats isn't recommended. Shadow has excellent manners, knows numerous commands, and walks beautifully on a leash. He truly thrives being close to his people. At this stage of his life, what he needs is a compassionate soul to see beyond his age and recognize the devoted companion he is. Shadow qualifies for our Seniors FUREVER program, ensuring that he'll always have a loving home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
