Pugberto is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm and is making great progress in our care. He’s not ready for adoption just yet, but we want to introduce this charming boy to everyone while he begins his search for a forever home! Once he completes his treatment and receives clearance from our veterinary team, he will be ready to start his new chapter. At 6 years old and 33 pounds, Pugberto isn’t your typical Pug. Picture two regular Pugs together, and you have him! This sweet apricot-colored boy was found as a stray, but he is full of hope as he looks towards his future. Social and friendly with humans of all ages, Pugberto is gentle and laid-back. He takes his time and surveys his surroundings, but once he feels comfortable with you, he’ll be your loyal companion. He gets along well with other dogs and has a calming presence, preferring a relaxed lifestyle. Pugberto craves love and affection, and it’s heartwarming to see him open up and realize he’s safe. This big, squishy boy just wants to be cherished and is eager to return the love he receives.
