Maggie Mae is a 9-year-old English Pointer with a unique blend of charm and adventure, currently residing in Bridgeton, NJ. Known as a "pocket pointer," she weighs about 41.8 pounds and is full of personality. Found as a stray in Oklahoma, she has transformed into a loving and playful companion, eager to make friends wherever she goes. This affectionate girl is great with people, including kids over five, and enjoys spending time with her foster brother and other canine companions. Maggie thrives on attention, balancing her time between couch cuddles during television time and playful activities like fetching and exploration. She’s not much of a nuisance barker; her vocalizations are more quirky than bothersome. Maggie has some important needs to consider. While she is house trained, she still requires occasional potty reminders. She has arthritis and needs regular exercise and veterinary care, as well as secure fencing to accommodate her strong prey drive. It’s vital that Maggie has a home environment rather than traditional boarding, as she does not handle kennel stress well. Despite these complexities, she embodies love and loyalty, proving that she’s worth the effort for the right family. If you’re seeking a dedicated companion who brings joy and laughter, Maggie Mae might just be the one for you. Start your journey together and see how rewarding it can be—apply today!
