This charming 8-year-old hound mix came to us in heartbreaking condition, suffering from tick paralysis and unable to move. After we removed the hundreds of ticks covering his body, he quickly made a remarkable recovery. What a comeback! Now, Sounders is a friendly love bug who gets along with just about everyone—dogs, cats, kids, bunnies, and more. He has such a gentle, happy personality that it’s hard to believe he was once let down. Sounders is crate trained and is working diligently on his house training. He’s looking for a family that will provide the love, patience, and stability he deserves. Sounders does have a condition called dry eye requiring lifelong treatment with eye drops, so his adopter must be committed to maintaining his medication for comfortable and healthy eyes. This sweet boy has proven he’s one tough little guy. After everything he’s been through, he deserves a forever home filled with love, soft beds, full bellies, and plenty of snuggles.
