About Milo

Summer has arrived, bringing along a special resident ready for a forever home: meet Milo! This sweet domestic short-haired orange tabby with white markings is a neutered male, fully vaccinated, and just a little over a year old. He’s looking for an indoor-only home, ideally with people who will appreciate his gentle nature and playful spirit. Milo came to the shelter after losing his home due to a tornado, and he's now eager for a safe and loving environment. Though it took him a moment to adjust, he’s become a favorite among staff and volunteers. He enjoys being petted and adores naps, especially in sunny spots by the window. While loud noises can sometimes startle him, with patience and love, he will thrive in a calm home. Milo gets along well with other cats, so an adoptive home with a feline companion would be ideal. He’s open to older kids but would prefer to avoid dogs. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who appreciates kindness and attention, Milo might just be the one for you. To meet this sweet boy, make an appointment at the shelter today! You can reach them at 219-922-1766 to schedule your visit. Milo is excited to find his forever family! What are you waiting for?
