About Apollo

Apollo is a floppy, cuddly, goofy, sweet-as-pie little Labradoodle puppy who is almost ready for his forever home. He’s learning a variety of new skills in foster care, and while he’s deaf, that doesn’t dampen his spirits; he’s just as happy sniffing around or snuggling as any fully-hearing pup. He’s cherishing his time with a loving foster family, getting to know everyone and attempting to befriend the family’s dog-savvy cats, all while keeping his sunny disposition. As an emerging member of your family, Apollo is poised to be a fantastic companion. With his innate ability to cuddle like a romance novel heroine, he thrives on affection. He truly enjoys the company of kids and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. You can expect him to happily trot around the house, snuggle in your lap, and play with his toys. His foster mom affectionately calls him "the best kind of doodle"—a sentiment you’re sure to agree with. At Green Dogs Unleashed, we prioritize finding loving, permanent homes for our dogs. Apollo is deaf, so we require that his adopters sign up for a six-week Canine 101 training class at our headquarters in Troy, VA. This will ensure he receives the proper training support to thrive. We also make exceptions for out-of-area adopters willing to complete one private lesson and attend a positive reinforcement class in their local area. If you are interested in adopting Apollo, please complete an application. We cannot respond to inquiries without applications. Note that the first email communication after your application will contain important instructions that you must follow. If approved, applicants will need to come to Troy for a meet and greet. Adoption involves a minimum fee, which helps cover basic expenses and ensures Apollo is ready for a bright future. Every detail matters in helping Apollo find his perfect family. Make his next chapter a happy one—apply to adopt him today!
