Duke is a charming 11-year-old Maltese with a love for adventure and a heart full of affection. He enjoys following his people around and cuddling up on laps. Duke has mastered the command "sit" and is currently working on crate training and other behaviors. He relishes short walks filled with interesting scents and does well in the car. Duke seeks a peaceful home where he can continue his training and enjoy plenty of cuddle time. At Green Dogs Unleashed, we ensure that our dogs are placed in caring homes. We require positive reinforcement training, as this helps prevent behavioral issues that could lead to returns. Duke's adoption will be prioritized for those willing to commit to a six-week in-person Canine 101 training class at our Troy, VA headquarters. We also consider out-of-area adopters who will complete one private lesson with us, either in person or virtually, and attend a local positive reinforcement class.
