Meet Carmen, affectionately known as Carmy! At 5 years old and 55 pounds, this Staffie mix embodies silliness and friendliness that can light up any room. Rescued from an overwhelming situation in Houston, Carmen is now eager to find her forever home. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, crate trained, and house trained, making her a well-prepared companion for any loving family. Carmen loves to play! Be it tug-of-war, tag, or simply zooming around, she's always up for fun. With moderate to high energy, she can keep up with active playmates yet enjoys lazy couch time just as much. She thrives as the only dog and wouldn't mind being your sole source of entertainment. Curiosity defines Carmen, especially when it comes to exploring elevated spots. Whether on picnic tables or chairs, nothing is beyond her reach! She has a loving character and seeks belly rubs, often wanting to be near you. Though timid at first, she warms up quickly to people and even other dogs. She has shared her space with a large foster dog successfully and is not reactive on walks. Carmen prefers to enjoy her food and treats alone, keeping her space during mealtime. Unfortunately, she cannot live with cats due to her prey drive. Whether you have an active household or a quieter one, Carmy can adapt as long as you’re ready for playtime and cuddles. This spirited girl will fill your home with laughter and joy, seamlessly combining her playful nature and love for snuggles.
