About Ivar
Ivar is a three-year-old, 70-pound Shepherd/Pyrenees mix who has recently found himself in a new home after being surrendered. He is strikingly beautiful, calm, and exceptionally sweet, though understandably bewildered by his new circumstances. While Ivar is not shy, he also doesn’t seek out the spotlight. This dog prefers a serene environment over a bustling household. He thrives in a calm, respectful home, ideally with someone experienced who can engage him with quiet confidence. Ivar is highly teachable and responds well to gentle guidance, showcasing his intelligent nature. He gets along well with other dogs, as long as they don’t rush him, and has shown himself to be fine with cats. He's suitable for older children who have outgrown loud, frenetic play. Ivar is housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, and rides well in the car. Although he doesn’t need a large fenced yard, he does require regular leash walks instead of off-leash fun. Ivar is looking for someone to appreciate his quiet, devoted spirit. If you think you can provide the loving home he deserves, take a moment to apply online. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
