After burning off some of that youthful excitement, she’s more than happy to settle in for some cozy cuddles, soaking up all the attention you can give her. Meadow gets along well with other animals, so having another playful dog around would make her quite happy. She shares her current home with a smaller, older dog, but she's really searching for a buddy who matches her playful spirit. However, her family should keep in mind that she has shown some food guarding behaviors, especially around her smaller canine friend, so managing mealtimes will be crucial. This girl comes with some impressive credentials: she’s house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. Plus, she’s great with kids. She sleeps in her crate but would gladly accept a spot in a human bed! Boredom is Meadow’s enemy, so she needs a family that can keep her active and engaged with plenty of playtime and adventures. Although she means well, her enthusiasm might surprise very young children, so they should be prepared for a few “Meadow bowling” moments.
