About Beanie
Meet Beanie, a lively mix of Shetland Sheepdog and Australian Cattle Dog, currently seeking a new forever home. She found herself back with us after living with a couple and their small dogs. While they adored her, Beanie's energetic herding instincts proved too much for the little dogs, as she would often play too robustly. Fortunately, she's settled well into her foster home, where she’s formed a close bond with the woman of the house. Beanie is known for being a loyal companion, following her foster mom everywhere and behaving beautifully with the resident dogs, including a 16-year-old Pug. Beanie is housebroken, crate trained, and very trustworthy off-leash. She enjoys car rides and is generally quiet, barking only when it’s warranted. Despite being small, her bark is deep and commanding—perfect for alerting you when someone is at the door! Beanie has also shown no issues with cats, focusing instead on her care and surroundings. Enjoying jogs with her foster, she has demonstrated protective instincts, always keeping an eye out. This sweet girl is ready for a home that matches her activity level and energy!
