About Kira
Meet Kira – your oversized lap dog with a heart of gold. This beautiful 2.5-year-old Shepherd mix weighs in at 72 lbs of love and is currently working on shedding a few extra snack pounds. Originally adopted in 2023, she has returned to The Furry Farm through no fault of her own. We're committed to finding Kira the ideal forever home where she can truly thrive. Kira is smart as a whip and eager to please, especially for treats. She’s highly trainable and would benefit greatly from a basic obedience class to polish her already impressive manners. This girl is fully house trained and wonderful on a leash, currently walking best with a prong collar. Her car manners are exceptional; she remains calm and happy during rides. Kira is good with dog-savvy cats and has been raised alongside young children. With a classic “puppy at heart” personality, she sometimes forgets her size and can get a bit mouthy while playing, but that’s pure enthusiasm, never aggression. Kira is incredibly loving and thrives on attention, cuddles, and family time. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who will happily be your shadow and couch buddy, Kira is the girl for you. Kira is back at the farm and ready for her true forever—one that sticks. Adoption fee is $200. Click apply to start the adoption process.
