About Dottie

Dottie came into rescue along with several other dogs when her owner had to move out of state due to health issues. This friendly little Jack Russell Terrier truly loves people and thrives on attention. She seems to be crate trained and may also be housebroken, though that isn’t guaranteed. Dottie gets along well with dogs, but she can be selective and prefers companions her size or larger. Supervision is a must when she’s around smaller dogs. She shows a bit of a prey drive, particularly towards unfamiliar smaller animals, making her unsuitable for homes with cats. At 14.82 pounds, Dottie is the perfect size for outings and adventures. Just like any good natured dog, she yearns for a family to dote on her. Dottie would make an excellent travel buddy, always eager to be by your side. After a recent vet visit on 8/28/26, she received treatment for an ear infection but tested negative for heartworms. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, Dottie might just be the one!
