Moose has a friendly disposition and is good with children, dogs, and even cats. He weighs around 100 lbs and enjoys leisurely walks. Moose does best with a diet free of chicken and has a slight heart murmur, but he is generally healthy for a senior dog. He resides in Saint Cloud, MN.

Meet Moose, the gentle brindle giant looking for a new home. At nearly 10 years old, this handsome Mastiff is a loving family companion who still has plenty of affection and playfulness left. Moose has spent his life in a caring household, but a change in his family's situation means he's ready for a fresh start. Moose has a beautiful brindle coat and excellent house habits; he’s fully potty-trained and crate-trained, though he prefers lounging around the house. This well-mannered senior is neutered, fully vaccinated, and has been assessed by vets, although he does have a slight heart murmur that requires monitoring. His personality shines especially around people. Moose is incredibly friendly and loves meeting new folks. He may give a quick bark to say hello, but once properly introduced, he just wants to soak up the love. He’s great with children of all ages, having grown up around little ones. While he tends to forget his size, a family who appreciates his clumsy charm will be perfect. Moose has also happily coexisted with other large dogs and is known to be friendly with cats. He walks well on a leash and enjoys short outings in the neighborhood. Though he’s low-maintenance for a senior dog, Moose has a simple dietary preference: he should avoid chicken-based foods to prevent any ear infections. He does wonderfully on a beef or lamb diet. In a nutshell, Moose is seeking a loving family who understands his size and playful spirit, is ready to provide plenty of affection, and is willing to feed him delicious meals.
