About Brian
Meet Brian, an adorable Yorkie/Miniature Schnauzer mix looking for a forever home where he can feel safe and cherished. The shelter environment was overwhelming for him, but in foster care, he has begun to show just how sweet and lovable he truly is. Brian loves to be held and prefers staying close to his people. He gets along well with both men and women and is also good with cats. Crate training is going smoothly, and his house manners are excellent โ heโs had just one accident so far! A bit particular about his meals, Brian enjoys kibble mixed with broth or wet food. He has a sensitive side; if frightened, he might give a little growl, but he quickly realizes heโs safe and calms down. One special quirk of Brian's is that he can be protective of laps, so future adopters should be patient in managing this behavior. He is observant of other dogs and seems to take cues from his canine companions. Given his background, Brian would thrive best in a calm and loving home, ideally with another friendly dog to help him build confidence. If you're looking for a cuddly little guy who enjoys being carried and would love a doggy friend, Brian could be the perfect match! Click apply to start the adoption process.
