About Franklin

Foster or forever home needed for Franklin! Meet Franklin, a 2-year-old, 17 lb Yorkshire Terrier mix. He came to us from an overcrowded shelter after his previous owner could no longer care for him. This sweet, happy boy is still building his confidence, but his personality shines a bit brighter every day. Franklin gets along well with other dogs and actually arrived with his buddy Dudley, another Yorkie mix. Although they love each other, they do not need to be adopted together. Franklin is treat motivated and eager to learn, making him a great candidate for a family who can continue nurturing his growth. He thrives in the company of a friendly, confident dog for added security and companionship, but he can also be content as an only dog if his family commits to keeping him socialized. He’s looking for someone who believes in him and will give him the time to blossom into the companion we know he can be. Once comfortable, Franklin emerges as a happy little sidekick, ready to brighten your day! If you believe you could be that gentle, supportive home for Franklin, he might just be your perfect match. Franklin is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is waived.
