About Sakina
Sakina is a gentle soul with a sweet disposition, born on July 8, 2024. She's gradually discovering the joys of love and companionship after a challenging start in a hoarding situation. In this environment, she was one of more than 40 cats left behind, but now Sakina is learning what it means to trust and be cared for. While she remains a bit shy, her progress shows every day. When she gets comfortable, she approaches for pets, and she has a delightful quirk of circling around as if she wants to ensure no petting spot is missed. One of Sakina’s most charming traits is her unique way of “making biscuits.” Instead of lying down, she stands and moves her paws back and forth, kneading an imaginary blanket—a special sign of her happiness. Sakina loves wet food and eagerly jumps onto the table when it's mealtime, showcasing her playful side. This feline friend gets along well with other cats, although she may take time to warm up to playing with them. She would thrive in a calm home, ideally with older children aged 13 and up, who recognize her need for patience. Busy households would be quite overwhelming for her, and she appreciates moments of quiet and affection. Sakina has a lot of love to give and is simply looking for someone willing to nurture her sweet spirit. Her adoption donation is $115 and covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip, and more.
