Bear is a lively and full-sized Belgian Malinois who made the journey from California to Texas with one mission: to find his forever human. This big, goofy puppy, at just over two years old, is brimming with energy and affection while still learning how to navigate his large frame. He thrives on human companionship, and there's nothing he loves more than attention and treats. If you give him some affection, prepare for gentle nudges or full-on hugs. His adventurous spirit shines through in his favorite activities: running around the yard, going for long walks (though leash training is a work in progress), exploring new environments, and car rides. A true treat lover, you’ll quickly discover his favorite snacks! Bear is friendly and curious about new people, though he still tends to jump in excitement like a typical puppy. He’s fully housetrained and does not counter-surf, but watch out for his knack for chewing household items. While he’s learned not to bark at other dogs, he’ll join in if they start first. One thing to note is that Bear dislikes being crated and is a talented escape artist. He also has a high prey drive, so supervision around small animals is essential. Though he doesn’t get along with cats or young children, he would thrive with an active, experienced owner willing to provide structure, training, and plenty of adventures.
