Elena is an 18-month-old Belgian Malinois from the Rio Grande Valley, where she and her friend Hunter were found abandoned. After coming into rescue, Elena quickly stood out for her intelligence and high energy. She’s got a striking tan and black coat, medium in length, and carries herself with the confidence and drive typical of her breed. Elena is both spayed and fully up-to-date on her vaccinations. She’s crate trained, house trained, very smart, and loves to play. She adapts well to being around other dogs and seems comfortable in social settings. Elena has a gentle side too, especially with children—she’s happy in a busy, active home environment. Hunter and Elena are now placed separately, and she’s ready to find her own family.
