Meet Goose! This handsome boy has made quite the impression since arriving at the shelter as a stray alongside his buddy, Maverick. While his past remains a mystery, Goose is stealing hearts and proving to be an exceptional companion. About 4 years old and weighing around 55 pounds, Goose features a striking coat and an incredible smile that lights up every room. He has quickly settled into his foster home, showing off his crate training skills and his polite eating habits. Goose truly shines in social settings, displaying a gentle nature with the dogs he meets. He enjoys toys, adores his walks, and is discovering new things about the world. Though he can be a bit unsure around new people, a little patience goes a long way with him. Once he bonds with you, he becomes a loyal and sweet friend. His introductions to other dogs have been calm, something we love to see. Goose has shown he can also be friendly with cats, wagging his tail happily in their presence. And in an unexpected twist for a Hound, Goose isn't particularly food motivated, which is great news for countertop security!
