Meet Milano! If you are looking for a gentle, easy-going companion who thinks he's a small lap dog, Milano is your guy. Weighing in at around 30 pounds and at 7 years old, he is the ultimate cuddle bug. If you’re sitting down to work or relax, expect Milano to try to crawl right into your lap to keep you company. This calm, low-fuss shadow loves to follow his people from room to room, seamlessly transitioning from snoozing in front of the living room window to loafing around the office. Milano is fantastic with kids! He brings a great balance of sweet and interactive energy to any home without being hyper. He happily follows the kids outside and shares toys beautifully, enjoying playtime with other dogs. He prefers polite housemates who respect his personal space but will romp around once he feels comfortable. Walking Milano is a breeze... unless a stray bunny catches his eye. Then, his inner hunter kicks in for a fleeting moment. Mostly, he’s a joy to walk. He’ll thrive in a home with a secured fence and a family who enjoys leash walks over off-leash hikes. House-trained and crate-trained, Milan does experience a bit of FOMO (fear of missing out). He happily heads into his crate and settles onto his bed, but prefers to stay by your side. His ideal home will be patient, helping him build confidence during alone time. Milano is a loving, loyal shadow ready to fill your days with tail wags and endless lap cuddles!
