About Milo

Meet Milo, a survivor ready for his forever home. It's hard to imagine all he has been through, yet he remains such a gentle and loving soul. Milo, estimated to be around 6 years old, weighs about 45 lbs. Rescued from the streets of Tijuana in heartbreaking condition, he was emaciated and suffering from mange, telling the tale of a dog who had endured so much. After several weeks of treatment, Milo is medically cleared to leave the kennel and continue his recovery at home. He still needs to gain weight and regrow his coat, but his sweet personality is shining through. Despite his past, he is incredibly gentle and gets along well with other dogs. He shows an eagerness to keep his living space clean, which hints that he will adapt well to home life. Milo has entropion, affecting his eyelids, and he'll soon undergo surgery to find comfort. What he truly needs now is love and a soft bed β€” a place where he can finally feel safe and understood. We hope to find someone who can see beyond his current appearance and recognize the dog he is becoming. With good food, care, patience, and love, Milo will blossom. After everything he has survived, his next chapter is destined to be his best. Interested in meeting Milo? Reach out to his foster, Steph, at 619-253-6195 or pephmyers@gmail.com. Even if you can't adopt, please help share Milo’s story. His forever person may be just one share away.
