About Cody
Cody arrived in Boulder, Colorado from Roswell, New Mexico, eager to find a family to help him explore this beautiful state. Though he may be shy at first, Cody warms up quickly and shows his affection through joyful greetings filled with little woo woos and tail wags. He’s getting comfortable thanks to his doggie foster sibling, who’s been teaching him the ropes of dog life. At around 3.5 years old, Cody is a mix of Alaskan Husky and German Shepherd. He enjoys outdoor adventures, having recently discovered hiking and trails, but he also loves to unwind at home, quietly observing his surroundings from his cozy dog bed. While he's crate trained and can stay alone when necessary, Cody genuinely prefers to be part of the family while you’re away. Cody is dog-friendly and has interacted well with both medium/large dogs and small dogs during walks. Although his previous experiences included multiple fosters, he now deserves a stable, loving home where he can thrive. He hasn't been around children but would likely do well with older kids who understand his need for space and respect. Cody's ideal family will have patience and help him flourish, and in return, he'll be a loyal companion. Ready to welcome Cody into your life? There’s so much joy to share!
